Pencil+ 4 Perspective Deform¶
The Pencil+ 4 Perspective Deformation modifier makes it possible to change the field of view depending on the distance to the camera. The laborious and advanced task of perspective control has now become easy, making it possible to create bold scenographic effects that look like hand drawn pictures.
Basic Parameters¶
Add target objects for the deformations and define the positions and amounts of the deformations.
Target Objects¶
Manage the objects that are affected by perspective deformation.
Target Objects List¶
Displays the objects that are affected by perspective deformation. A Pencil+ 4 Perspective Deform (Obj) (WSM) modifier is automatically added to objects added to the list.
Add¶
Add objects to the list.
Delete¶
Remove objects from the list.
Switch Points¶
Manage the points that modify the perspective.
Switch Points List¶
List of the points that modify camera perspective. Multiple switch points can be created, each with its own adjustable [Range] and [Field of View]. The switch points are ordered with the points closest to the camera at the top of the list. Selecting a switch point changes the values in the Switch Point area to the values of the selection

Add¶
Add a switch point to the list.
Delete¶
Delete the selected switch point from the list.
Overall Parameters¶
Define the strength of the perspective deformation.
Lens Distortion¶
Add lens-like distortion.

Falloff¶
Smoothly interpolate the deformation between switch points.

Recalculate Normals¶
Recalculate the vertex normal of the deformed objects. Activating / deactivating this option switches the vertex normals between values before and after deformation.
Origin Offset¶
Offset the origin of the camera horizontally and vertically.
Horizontal¶
Set the amount of horizontal offset of the origin.
Vertical¶
Set the amount of vertical offset of the origin.

Switch Point¶
Define the parameters of the switch point currently selected in the Switch Points list.
Name¶
Name of the switch point.
Name¶
Define the name of the switch point.
Range¶
Define the range of the switch point.
Specific¶
Set the switch point's position by defining its distance to the camera.

Object Reference¶
Set the switch point's position to the origin of the referenced object.
Field of View¶
Define the field of view of the switch point.
Specific¶
Define the field of view using a numerical value.
Initial¶
Use the source camera's own field of view.
Lens¶
Define the camera's focal length (in millimeters).

FOV¶
Define the camera's field of view with an angle.
Orthographic Projection¶
Enable / disable the orthographic projection.
Invert FOV¶
Flip the field of view. Make object close to the camera bigger and objects that are far smaller. If used for the starting switch point, the whole image is flipped.
Predefined Lens¶
Set the camera's focal length using one of the preset values.
Twist¶
Add a twisting effect to the perspective deformation.
Angle¶
Define the strength and direction of the twist as an angle.
