PSOFT® Pencil+® 4 for 3ds Max®¹ is a non-photorealistic rendering plugin for Autodesk's 3D computer graphics software 3ds Max. It produces images that have a hand-drawn look like pen or color pencils drawings.
Pencil+ 4 mainly provides the following 4 features.

	Pencil+ 4 Material allows the creation of richly expressive looks. In particular, it can create pencil sketch-like looks by using stroke maps.
	Pencil+ 4 Line can quickly draw beautiful lines which can be finely controlled.
	Pencil+ 4 Modifiers make hand-drawn looks that are otherwise difficult in 3D computer graphics a reality. They include perspective deformers, helpers for controlling looks and tools that allow the selection of the edges where Lines are drawn.
	Render Elements Output allows the output of specific elements of Pencil+ 4 Lines and Pencil+ 4 Materials to file. This feature is very useful for working with compositing software.
